A workshop where 7 people create individual films, addressing script, acting, lighting, narrative vs non-narrative, sound, composition and planning. Michael Roemer engages the subject matter on a highly personal and profound manner, and each film is analyzed and subjected to strong criticism. There is no preferred medium or type, although the semester was started by making one or two documentaries, after which a move towards fiction was made.
