IUCN NL works with NGOs, companies, governments and scientists to strengthen human wellbeing through worldwide nature conservation.
IUCN NL is the Dutch national committee of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, the world’s oldest and largest global environmental organization. IUCN publishes the Red List of Threatened Species and is the only environmental organization with official UN Observer Status. IUCN unites more than 1,200 government and NGO members and almost 11,000 volunteer experts in some 160 countries.
IUCN NL and Except work together to find joint solutions for our most pressing natural capital challenges. The cooperation started in 2013 when Tom Bosschaert was a speaker at the World Forum on Natural Capital. Since then, several projects, both small and big, have been jointly developed. Concept development, communication and stakeholder engagement play a large role in most of them.
