Jane is passionate about people, cooperation and systems.  She has a BA in European Studies from Trinity College Dublin which grounded her vision for international cooperation and policy. Undertaking a MSc. in Sustainable Citizenship at Utrecht University lead her to see how our role as citizens is evolving and challenged in the context of climate change and environmental degradation.  

She is fascinated with the relationship between society and issues of sustainability, as well as how understanding the complexity of such relationships can create better solutions. Her master thesis and internship focused on blockchain technology and how identity technology for undocumented persons could enable better assistance during natural disasters in St. Maarten and Malawi.

 She has lived in several countries and enjoys bridging cultures, having worked in international business for two years in Singapore after her bachelor degree. Jane is now working with Except as a trainee so that she can work on  problems employing the unique integrated   approach that Except has created. She has a particular strength in stakeholder analysis and engagement. She is energised by building relationships, collaborating with others and seeing positive solutions realised.
